Astoria, OR Chamber of Commerce is holding a historical society day on the Saturday.  There will be a variety of events and there will be tours, lectures, trips in the Flavel house and a movie.  The cost is $15/person and it covers the activities of the afternoon and weekend.  The bed and breakfasts are great there and there are some motels as well.   The neat thing is that me and Shari will be representing AGHOST there and doing a short presentation on our group and our last investigation there.  There will also be an informal investigation after the festivities being hosted by us. The location of the investigation will be a surprise so we hope that you like it.  It is a good place to go for a night, and it should be fun.  We could even carpool if people are interested.  We will discuss this more at the next meeting.  Bring your questions and ideas, all are appreciated.
